As I watch this election going forward, what I have previously expressed as my biggest fear is something I do believe is ongoing and happening. Often in a sickly latent way and this is the emergence of White Tribalism. Yes, it has always existed, but now it has been given a label of "legitimacy" and largely at the blame of the mainstream media and its ignorant theme of "two sides to every story and each deserves equal time."

I believe that regardless of what happens in November, White Tribalism is going to be the common cohesive aspect that holds "MAGA" together.  It may obtain a more palpable name in the future, but that is what is going to be the glue and I think we are seeing aspects of it right now, and the mainstream media is completely ignoring this aspect - not entirely, but enough.

I mean, let's get down to the nitty-gritty here - with this orange fucker and his "movement" nothing really has been able to puncture this bubble enough to flatten it and we have seen this for what, ten years or more now? And what do opponents of this movement do? They continue to seek out that knockout blow that is NOT coming. That is how insidious this "White Tribalism" has become and how resilient it has become and will maintain as such.

And one very sickening aspect of this is how powerful of a draw this "White Tribalism" has become - it is like a cultural black hole where it is able to pull in segments that one would think would be immune - people of color, the religious, women and all those others that should be running for the hills, but seem to want to get on the "White Tribalism" train to what? Bend at the knee and kiss the ring to just exist?

What I am trying to point out, and one thing I believe so many are overlooking, is how at times "white tribalism" is so very obvious, but at the same time, how the atavistic power of it is overlooked (Think of it this way - relatively speaking time-wise, human development is still in its infancy. Our brains are still focused on the survival of the species and prejudice and internal warning signs deep within our brains are still very powerful and reactionary - our brains are still focused on lightening speed segregation and separation aspects to promote our survival - to illustrate, imagine walking down the sidewalk and down the ways a bit you see a curvy, elongated circular thing and before you can identify it, your reptilian brain is shouting "snake, snake, snake" before you can identify it as a garden hose).

Now, add on to this still-evolving feature with political opponents that are declaring fear from every single angle and corner and make it clear, that all these dangers are from all others different from "you" - the white race.

And this is why "White Tribalism" scares the hell out of me - because these fuckers like Bannon, Trump and their ilk KNOW what they are doing and don't give a shit at all.

For example, it has been my belief that there is a difference in the brains of liberals and conservatives, and in ways, liberals are more in tune with the cerebral and reasoning, while the conservative brain is more in tune with politics by emotion or reptilian in nature.  Also, this is sort of on a gradient scale, too.

Sadly, to me, technology that trends toward reactionary sorts of things is proving to be more geared toward emotions, especially negative ones, and over the past few years,  I think it has been clearly shown that technology clearly favors anger and negative emotions than that of more positive ones - nothing gets our goat more than getting pissed off, eh?

My main point in all this is that I believe so many are horribly overlooking race in the more dangerous and subtle ways.

I mean, look at all the horrible things Trump and his MAGA crowd have done and these fuckers are still standing.  WHY?

On my walks, I go by this one MAGA asshole's house.  He has his yard and garage full of Trump/Vance crap and he is a military veteran and also with military crap in his yard. Now, this is to illustrate my point about the power of "white tribalism" - these fuckers will swallow all sorts of shit from the "right" person, not from a decent Black woman, but from a piece of shit white asshole.

I mean, we all KNOW, if Harris, or any other Democrat behaved this way, any one of them would have been out of the race in an instant.  I mean, really, which is the worst of the two phrases: "enemy from within" or "basket full of deplorables" and which one received the most coverage?  To me, examples such as these, clearly show how deep "White tribalism" runs and what a bond its glue possesses, so I don't think it is going to go away any time soon.  It has just begun to raise its ugly head and while doing so, all those in the MSM have legitimized it by its horrible coverage of it and will continue to do so.
