Icon One aftermath that has been so amusing to watch is....

How FauxNew's Bret Baier more or less had a Pyrrhic victory if anything. I didn't watch the interview but later was able to view the aftermath and read reactions from both sides and the takeaway I came with was if Bret Baier had done a respectful interview and acted like a courteous interviewer, Harris would have looked very poor (even liberal pundits remarked how many of her answers were dodges, but that Baier's behavior negated her spotty performance).

So, if this dipshit had done a traditional, respectful interview, Harris might have had a very bad night, so, thank you Bret Baier for being an asshole.

Now, another word about "working the ref" - Harris made such a wonderful jujitsu move that was a genuine use of "working the ref" by mentioning that Baier showed the wrong clip.  Now, hopefully, other outlets will highlight that and add to the highlight by showing the real clip she was referring to when Trump declared Dems the enemy within.

Another win was how now people are pointing out how hostile Faux is to those not on the right and how that is being picked up by other outlets, as well.

And this is how a good "working the ref" works - now, high-profile Democrats and liberals can go out and say, "Bret Baier's treatment of Harris is why we don't go on Faux." My point in this is highlighting Baier's rudeness could actually lead to other "reporters" on Faux to actually conduct a good, courteous, and tough interview instead of a hatchet job.
