At some point, a prosecutor and investigator handled the knife and it was later determined to be theirs. After it was identified, one of the arguments put forth to try and prevent his execution was how that indicated evidence was mishandled and tainted, which is not necessarily true.

Please, if you do find anything that offers explanations about the stolen property and his girlfriend's statement let me know.

Because of all the massive attention, I was going to ask about those ommissions elsewhere, however, after reading comments, no one would even address them, and ended up claiming people were racist for even doubting it.

Sadly, in my experience with cases that are illegitimately made to seem highly controversial, so many of them arrive there because information is cherry-picked and especially the information with the possibility of being inflammatory, while much of the contrary information is left out. 

But at the end of the day, isn't it something that the easiest way to deal with this is to just ban the death penalty altogether? 

ON A LIGHTER NOTE - Can't wait till Tues with great hopes Walz is going to kick some ass - and I think if he does, this might just about do it.
