I can only imagine, Katherine, how you and so many others around the world must feel knowing you have no say/influence in this major event happening in the US. The election outcome, as you said, really will have an effect on the rest of the world. One candidate is decent, qualified, and respected by leaders around the world, while the other is none of that and is a dangerous threat to the entire world. Just know, we’re working here to make sure Harris/Walz come out on top!

Harris definitely won the debate but, unsurprisingly, the MAGAts and Fox News/Right Wing Cable stations proclaimed their lord and master had won. It is so disgusting to see a grown 78 year-old man act like such a child. I don’t know that I’ve ever seen an actual spoiled rotten child act like TW and not be able to admit to losing. He’s just evil and after Harris/Walz win, TW will hopefully be on his way to prison!

You’re not the only one to be confused by the Electoral College. It is extremely outdated and part of the reason it was adapted is because of concern that with slaves in the south, southern states would have a bigger say so in elections than other states. Like so many things in the USA, this is another example of systemic racism. Because there has been 2 elections between 2000 & 2016 where the person with the most votes lost the Electoral College, it is obvious that the E.C. needs to go.

I was excited to hear that Taylor Swift  endorsed Harris/Walz! Over the first day or 2, 400,000 visits were made to vote.org from link Swift put in her endorsement post. The link takes people to their state’s Voter Registration site. Getting people registered is great, but that doesn’t equal an actual vote. Hopefully, she’ll do some more work to make sure the Swifties actually make it to the polls.
