For those not familiar with The Bear, this is a Hulu dramadey where a chef returns to Chicgao to help run his families Italian beef only sandwich shop (I mean, the only sandwich they serve in the opening season for sale is an Italian beef sandwich).

I know this show is getting all sorts of hype, but I have never seen a series with as much growth as this one.

It is now in its third season and after two of my girls and I finished, I am still stunned at the growth of this show.  Sadly, the dramatic growth is irritating the type of viewer that was expecting the show to stay the same and remain to be a chaotic mess with more comedy, than drama. 

 I wish I could tell more about this season, but that would spoil it.  All I will say more about is that the opening episode clearly indicates a major shift in the atmosphere of this show, and if you allow it to enter you, you will figure out where this show came from and where it is going.

And some segments are so damned beautiful and so well done.  For example, there is one scene about how to truss a chicken that just blew me away in both its subtle beauty and the delicate way the scene is filmed (as I watched it, it struck me, that the best chefs in the world are as talented and skillful as any doctor, scientist, athlete, engineer, entertainer, or any other highly skilled profession and most likely possess more knowledge about a subject (culinary) than any other).

Really, this program has utterly shattered my expectations.  I thought forward it was just going to be another Shameless re-tread, but, wow, it is not.
