stay completely positive and explicitly state his plans for the next four years and only barely hit at Trump in this first debate and focus on where we are now, where we were four years ago, and where we will be in four more.
My thought is, we all know Trump is going to go off the deep end and most likely fail to get across any sort of coherent theme. Biden has not been getting any credit on the economy at all or how he has turned this country around this term and he needs to get voters to see that more clearly.
I would love to see him fire some opening salvo along the lines of, "Many people accuse me of being out of touch with Modern Day America, and in one way I am - I fathom a very hard time believing that in Modern Day America after all our progress as a nation, that I am standing on a stage with a vile man running for president that has thirty-four felony convictions, has been found guilty of sexual assault, has never uttered a kind word toward anyone, has denigrated our military dead and tried to overthrow our government, but we will prevail."
And then have him move on to the most positive debate ever and let the Trump remarks just roll off his back.
I just don't think Americans are seeing the positives as much as they should, and to me, Biden has done an utterly fantastic job with what he has had to work with and that just does not get pointed out enough.
