Today, I took three of our daughters to watch the Brewers play the Reds in Major League Baseball.  The crowd was at 39,000. Snoop Dog was an unannounced surprise appearance to throw out a pitch and when he appeared, the crowd went absolutely insane. They loved it AND these were overwhelmingly white.                        

My point is this: reports of Biden being lackluster to blacks, especially black males, may be more easily persuaded if someone like Snoop spoke. Also, to me, Snoop Dog is unique in the way that he is now perceived - as my youngest put it, "he is chill."

Frankly, he has simply become one of those people that is almost universally admired, regardless of his early life.

I only mention this because I was stunned at how vividly the crowd not only reacted to his throw, but later when they showed silent video of him in the broadcasters booth the crowd went nuts again.
