To me, one of the most frustrating things about being an American in current times is that no matter how valid of a comment a regular American has about almost anything it means nothing.  The goddamned machine has become too big.

That, average, everyday Americans are powerless when it comes to all sorts of injustices; that day-to-day Americans have no voice in this country.  We used to have people like Edward R. Murrow, Studs Terkel, Walter Cronkite, Bill Moyers, and others, who had the interests of everyday Americans in mind and had influence with their words.

And that brings me to people like Merrick Garland who needs a kick in the goddamned ass to do SOMETHING.  Get just a ten percent political blood transfusion from Bill Barr, not to lie and cheat, but to grow a spine.

Garland needs to hold a press conference and slam all these fucking judges big time, especially Cannon.  Ten fucking times for contempt? A Supreme Court wing that apparently is wishy-washy whether it believes America deserves a king? All these delays? Does this fucking guy even come out of his office?

It is not "political" to defend American democracy and jurisprudence and Garland needs to fucking do that - we are losing it right before our eyes  And now it is revealed that Trump demanded 1 billion from oil magnates in return to kill Biden's environmental policies.

And this gets me back to my original point about everyday Americans not having a voice - my outrage at Garland's lack of doing anything means nothing.  Any words I say or type mean nothing and all because I, and everyday Americans lack influence.  Shit, in ways, we really don't matter so long as we are living, breathing cash machines and then, even that matters little.
