I don't know if anyone shared this with you (forgive me if someone did already), but once upon a time here someone came up with a thing called the DBIS Burn Unit (I honestly can't recall who it was - Dan or Pat or someone else).

Anyway,  what everyone did in this era before music downloads and streaming took off, was to burn CDs with what they felt was their favorite music that deserved more listeners.

If I'm not mistaken, we did two rounds of this and it was so wonderful getting CDs in the mail from all over the world from so many people.  I still have mine and think there may be thirty or forty of them.

I need to break them out and see if there are discs in there from Kent, Kyle or other departed DBIS fans.  And if I recall correctly, people even drafted their own liner notes with the songs. 

I miss things like that.
