I was looking forward to until Trump’s legal team pulled a fast one and blamed it on first on SDNY and then on DA Alvin Bragg. They ordered thousands of superfluous documents from SDNY and just got them a couple of weeks before the trial was supposed to start, which was today. A 90 day delay was requested by trump’s team and a 30 day delay was requested by DA Bragg. Turns out there was only 280 new documents in the hundreds of thousands of pages turned over.  Today Judge Juan Merchan will hopefully decide on a court date today. 
 
Another milestone event today is that it’s the day that the almost 1/2 billion $$  fine is due from trump. It appears he does not have that much cash despite his Truth Social announcement that he has $500 million in cash. That’s not what the state AG, Leticia James thinks though. Then at the 11th hour, right when it looks like trump might lose money and property, there’s a rumor that the guy that owns Tik Tok might buy into Truth Social for $5 billion which could give him the lifeline he needs to keep his property and money. I guess we’ll have to wait and see what happens.
