I may be wrong but I think that President Biden has sent some assistance to Ukraine without Congressional approval. It has to be done in particular ways though I think. So at the end of December, Biden was able to have the DOD send equipment to help them Ukraine (see article below). I believe that Biden has sent some other assistance to Ukraine without approval of congress as well. There is probably just a limit. Also, I think that Biden has asked other countries to fill in for us right now or something because I saw somewhere that several other countries sent money that I got the feeling had not sent that much before. Again, I may not have read that correctly.

We need to make sure that we put pressure on the republicans to get back to Washington and pass the aid to Ukraine and Gaza. I didn't get a chance to call yesterday, but I will on Monday...I will be calling Speaker Johnson's office to tell him that we need that aid bill brought to the floor. I will then be calling him every single day. Maybe more than once a day. I'll also be asking everyone I know to do this and asking them to ask everyone they know. Everyone here can do the same.

Then say you're calling to say that the House 2 week vacation MUST be cancelled and representatives MUST be called back to DC as soon as possible to vote on the bipartisan Senate Bill which provides $93B in aid to Ukraine, Gaza, & Israel. This bill MUST be passed as soon as possible and cannot wait for more than 2 weeks. Thank you. (or anything you want to say)
