Don't you all just love that MAGA blows a gasket over immigrants beating on the coppers but, hey, who gives a shit when MAGA sends 144 cops to the hospital.

Can this shit get any more off the rails?

We once had this charismatic alcoholic cop known for fighting with cops - yes, while a cop.

He would get all tanked up and even got thrown in the pokey a few times (one time even kicking out a police officer's car window).  But this guy, while employed as a cop, fought with other cops when drunk off duty.  Eventually, it caught up with him and he was given the choice to resign or be fired.  He then went into rehab and was later hired by another much larger agency despite this background.  Want to know the kicker?  My co-workers would have taken him back in a second regardless of this behavior.

Now, this wasn't some sort of action forty years ago, but in the last twenty.  I never understood my co-workers over this back then and especially do not understand ANY MAGA supporting person in law enforcement (oh, except the obvious nutjobs) or in the military, or affiliated with the military.  I just don't get it.
