This has come up in my YouTube feed, although I've scrolled past it.  That hobby can get out of hand real quick. Getting to the bottom rung of what is considered "audiophile" is minimum 5K for a 2 channel system.  AV systems are exponentially more expensive.   You start with incremental improvement in sound like a $500 phono cartridge, new shielded cables, a few hundred here, a thousand there.  It adds up real quick.

And don't get me started on Vintage audio...
