I almost believe that if Haley had gone after Trump from the very start and had thrown at him the things that really matter, especially those things that matter to Suburban women voters, then this could have been an entirely different race.

For one thing, this is what I know about males - when it comes to facing overwhelming opinions or stances, even when if right, males, especially white males, shrivel like peckers in cold water (how's that for a mental image - channeling my American Mick).

On top of that, if Haley had shown the other males how to fight Trump, other than Christie because was already doing this, the other pansies would have followed.

Haley really blew a great opportunity, but that is okay with me because Trump will be easier to beat.

Now here is also something that may be going into her thinking - stay in the race, don't piss off Maga, and maybe, just maybe, the US Supreme Ct or one of the criminal court cases might just take Trump out of the race and force the Rethugs to pick No 2.
