Well, you are in the midst of Marge Greene country, Andi, and so I think your sense of vigilance is much sharper than mine. I find him dangerous, primarily because he so easily seems to inspire rage, fear and anger in his supporters, and also in his detractors.  My approach to this is to try to step back and look at this from a distance, without an emotional component, and to try to judge what I am seeing just based upon what is happening.

I do not think we should waiver at all in taking him serious as a threat to the wellbeing of our entire planet and all people.  My honest belief is, Biden should easily beat him IF there is no third party candidate drawing a large number of votes that totally shifts the dynamic of the election. I do not see a way that Trump can gain voters, make up ground on Biden, with the way he only attempts to appeal to the most wacky in his base.

He's not pitching any kind of message to bring in independents nor wandering Democrats. He's not even pitching a message to bring in moderate Republicans and conservatives.  Each day that passes, he hones and sharpens his pitch to "I am going to get revenge on all of you!" and that's it. He is not talking about anything else. He only promises to punish his enemies and get retribution, to destroy the government and justice system, to kill and jail his domestic enemies. He's got nothing else, that is his entire campaign pitch.

OK, well, that does have some appeal to some freakish segment of the population, but for most of them, he seems like an out of control nut that should be nowhere near the White House.  He actually came out, I heard but have not checked this, and reversed course on his statements on Nikki Haley and her supporters. Someone actually got through to him it was a horrible idea to have said that. Donald is king of saying the quiet part out loud.

Actually telling Republican voters that they are out of his party was an amazingly stupid idea. I know he wants to rule by threat and by inspiring fear, but all he did with that was push even more people not to vote for him if/when he makes it to the general election. It was the act of an angry 5 year old. 

Here's where I really become confused. Why would anybody, any person with any intelligence back this guy? The big Republican donors can see he is stupid and out of control. The man can't control himself at all. He just lost in court, was ordered to pay E. Jean Carroll $83 million, for only one reason...the moron can't control himself. He just continues to defame her, all he had to do was to shut up, take the first loss, and pay her $5 million, but no, he just can't stop himself from talking about her, lying about her, over and over again. It is entirely self-inflicted! It is all just his own stupidity biting him in his big diaper covered ass time and time again. 

Granted, he was found responsible for raping Ms. Carroll, so he is a known rapist...this did not deter Republicans from backing him. Tim Scott, knowing Trump was a rapist, endorsed him anyway. He could have endorsed his friend, a woman that helped and supported him, really set Tim Scott on the path into government...but no, endorsed an idiotic rapist instead.  A guy that not only raped the woman, but then continues to defame her over and over and over again. 

My question for Tim Scott would be, why would you do this? Why would anybody do that? Then you pile in all of the other horrific stuff Trump does, most of it all absolutely idiotic, and you have to ask why do these Republicans endorse him? Who donates to a goddamn rapist?

You can't have a man this dumb with absolutely no self-control be the leader of the free world.

I don't want us to let our guard down, but I have to think here, Biden is just starting his campaign now. Just kicking it off. The word is from Trump's own people, Donald is terrified of Biden. Terrified that Biden has done an incredible job with the economy. That Biden has the US producing oil at a record rate. That Biden is attempting to take care of the border crisis and is getting blocked from doing so by Republicans.  They must have blown through most of Donny's diaper supply yesterday after what happened in court and based on what is coming here, the Donald might exhaust the US diaper supply before the end of March.
