A couple of years ago I picked up a copy (actually 2) of the Classic Records test pressings of Boomtown on vinyl. These were mastered at 45rpm for (I'm guessing) an eventual release that didn't happen. But tucked away on the 4th platter (the album takes up 4 LPs - single sided) - right after Heroes was Good Times. It sounds fantastic. The guitar solo is great. David's vocals are clear. The tempo is slower - more contemplative. Different but not.
And it sat there in my bookshelf unlistened until now.
I'll put something together in the future to better highlight this release - but for now - enjoy -
–-- me I'm pretty sick of that - how bout faith or even hope
