Is it just me or do others believe that the deaths of innocent Palestinians (not children or infants because that is always horrible) in Gaza is somewhat glossed over or ignored because of a narrative that if not all, the largest number of Palestinians are thought to be of, or support, Hamas?
When it comes to things like worldly information analysis by citizens in the US, I think one very major issue when it comes to deciphering the important aspects of that information is how poorly so many Americans view events outside of their own lives and that they also mainly see things from the perspective of their own life and experiences - that we Americans are so poor at seeing so many things from the eyes of others.
My point in that observation is that so often these major tales are not illustrated in ways that make them fully understandable to Americans (but at the same time, I think Americans purposely like to remain ignorant about world events or events outside of their own myopic world) and I think when it comes to things like the Israel/Hamas war a large number of Americans do not fully comprehend or fully understand what is going on in those cultures or all of the nuances of these battles.
This leads me to the belief that for Americans to really become invested in stories like this is that these horrors need to be expressed in ways a typical American can understand and I believe that this is just not happening.
