I see a scenario where Haley trumps Trump and wins the nomination. It's not out of the question. There's no way Trump won't still be on the ballot as a 3rd party candidate, totally splitting the vote. But someone needs to get to 270 electoral college votes. If that doesn't happen, it's thrown back to the states to decide and if that's the case, Biden is finished. There is still a path forward for Trump even as a 3rd party candidate. We're far from being out of the woods yet.
In my darkest thoughts, I also see anarchy breaking out. The gun nuts have been prepping for this day, and with so many in law enforcement sympathetic to their cause and hopped up on conservative media and Trump propaganda, we're a fucking powderkeg just waiting to be ignited. Again, who could have scripted any of this?
