I saw their last tour ( what was it called? Bridges of Babylon ? ) at Vandy Stadium in Nashville. I wasn't expecting much but left impressed.

In the middle of the show a huge briged streched out to a stage in the middle of the field and the boys ran across the bridge to a smaller stage where they did a few numbers with their "combo" gear ala 1960's.

This was only the second major concert Vanderbilt and due to complaints from the neighbors over the noise when Pink Floyd did their last tour, the Stones were forced to start early in the evening which led Mick to hit the stage with a "Good Morning !".

I wound up sitting with Steve Forbert and his wife.

The opening act was.....Sheryl Crow.
