Here is one just emerging and it shows the importance of the placement of a comma.
In his book, Mike Pence had the following sentence:
"You know, I don't think I have the authority to change the outcome."
He has told Jack Smith that the actual sentence and meaning of the sentence is this:
"You know I don't think I have the authority to change the outcome," suggesting Trump was well aware of the limitations of Pence's authority days before Jan. 6 -- a line Smith includes in his indictment."
Now, while that might seem like a minor omission, ponder it for a bit and the importance of the meaning of that sentence without the comma suddenly grows into a big deal. In other words, Pence KNEW Trump KNEW Pence did not have that authority and it was not a surmising question of him not thinking he had the authority to change the outcome.
There really is a butt-full of intent in that actual sentence.
