Joe I like to slip into the native European tongues sometimes and use their expressions to be inclusive of our Portuguese and Spanish brethren who are too afraid to post here.
Never thought of the Indian connection. Can't use Irish slang as it would go over everyone's heads. Can't remember where I saw it first. I mean if I said 'he's gone completely bollix' on killing children and women people might think he was doing for a laugh or just got carried away. Like it was unintended and as soon as it was pointed out to him he was behaving like a bollix he'd stop and cop himself on.
