I couldn't get the link to work, Peter so I'll have to try later.  My question would be what is the cost of not going to war?  Clinton was offered Bin Laden on more than one occasion but took a pass and we see where that left us.  We saw what a guy working out of a cave was able to do to us and yet all a person hears from the left is that there's no reason to consider Saddam a threat.  Fool me once...

For all the criticism given gw I think it's quite possible he's so far in front of the left on this whole issue it's not even funny.

So what is the deal with Michael Moore anyway?  I read the article of his you posted the other day and I was struck by a few things.  First, the remark about the rich not paying their fair share...last I checked, the top 5% of income earners pay over 56% of all Federal income taxes and the top 50% pay 96%.  So who is it that isn't paying their fair share?

He's pro choice...such a brave stand to take against those little young ones trying to make it out of the womb entact.  In his perfect world, a law abiding person would be enthusiastically embrased for choosing to kill a baby but this same person cannot choose to own a handgun.  What gives?  Personally, I couldn't care less about owning a handgun.

In this country roughly 7500 people are killed each year by handguns while 1.3 million abortions are performed.  Or what about the fact that on average there are over 16,000 alcohol related auto deaths per year.  I wonder why he isn't out there beating his drum about that?  I find what the guy says to be very hollow and disingenuous at best.
