If Sandy Hook couldn't move the needle then nothing will. Seriously, if 20 kids under 7 can be executed in their school and no meaningful change happens - then nothing will. Uvalde - where the good guys with guns stood outside and left the massacre happen - cancels out any arguments about arming teachers, more security guards, etc. The change that needs to happen is staring us right in the face.
I may have mentioned it before - but a few years back in a conversation with my brother I asked him if Sandy Hook is the price we have to pay for the absoluteness of the 2nd Amendment - and after just a brief moment - he shook his head yes.
