Yet another update on this compilation... As we got into putting all this stuff together- getting eq, compression, levels, etc (Neve 8028, Fairchild, Pultec, for the techs among you) all together for this set, my first feelings were of simple anxiety. So any different recording mediums, musicians, engineers, styles of music, states of mind- it just seemed ungovernable. But tonight, I'm listening to the last assembly of all 28 songs for final glass on the thing... And I'm so fucking proud of how it holds together. This record is a slice of life, and how. I thank you, all of you who signed onto this page, and made my mom proud, and inspired me to put this thing together. Please be patient, all of you who've sent checks. I know I'm taking a long time. I just want to make these first ones nice. I swear you won't be disappointed. Thank you, David Baerwald
