One thing I would like someone to explain to me is if the Dems are the uber all things liberal, which would include the arts and creativity, then why the hell do they not have their own version of The Lincoln Project and why do they blow so many messaging opportunities?
Yes, I get it that the thought probably is why pay when an existing organization already does these sorts of ads, but at the same time, the Dems fail to do effective messaging while so much material is present.
For example, take these mass killings and the impotent reactions by the right. Imagine an ad that portrays news reports of these killings and then adds spots of Republican politicians and their worthless remarks about being able to do nothing and contrast with events such as the expulsion of the Tennessee Democrats and how fast Republicans can move on other things like making it so 12-year-olds can marry.
Or the harsher pushing of making Jordan, Greene, Boebart, and the other Right-wing nuts as the face of the Republican Party. Yes, they are doing this, but too mildly. I mean, look at the response of the Dems over Greene calling Dems the party of the pedophile. There has been hardly any pushback on that, which is especially galling since if one looks at it with all of the examples, if any party is the party of that, it is the Republicans.
And then, what do the Dems do? Yes, they pick Chicago for their next Presidential convention. CHICAGO! I'm sure there is a better city and one with a farther reach into media markets than Chicago. And then all the baggage that comes along with Chicago.
