What is wrong with a "governmental database nationwide on citizens", in regards to hiring law enforcement of ANY kind ?
I can assure you that no one with a criminal record, would get a job in policing in Denmark. Also it requires a high school diploma, an IQ test and a clean bill of health (no persons with mental problems). Obviously this is the same for military personnel...
As for the Tyre case I cannot fathom how and why those 5 black police officers should feel empowered to beat him up to a degree that he dies. There is just no excuse... Color really is not a factor in my opinion.
