There is nothing like off-the-wall and obscure Christmas songs. We had this rock music radio station here in glorious Illinois where during the Christmas season it would have a few hours a night devoted to music noted as being the lost misfits of Christmas songs. It was so wonderful to listen to and like all great things was discontinued after 2017.
So, here are two that would fit with that criteria and a third song that focuses on how rapidly a lifetime goes by while pondering what we are left with.
But before those, here is a Santa's bag full of hopeful wishes that everyone that still trickles in here has safe and happy holidays and a bliss-filled Happy New Year.
If you can search for this John Water's hosted documentary dive into the world of obscure Christmas songs. Fat Daddy is among them.
This one is a goody to sneak on the playlist while driving around so when it gets going the little ones get to chuckle at the chorus and main line.
And for us older ones that have lived a bit, a song to ponder how fast life goes and what remains.
Best wishes to all, even that cantankerous Mick bastard Mick who will clearly come in with some sort of reply that will blow this thread all the way up........
