Just finished this six-part limited series and it was one of the darkest, twisty crime shows I've seen in a long time.  The less you know about it, the better.  All you need to know is that an elderly man contacts a writer to chronicle his relationship with the love of his life when he was much younger. 

It is both violently and sexually graphic.  I simply can't believe it is not receiving so much more attention.  Yes, it was just released, but the pre-publicity has been severely lacking.
