I agree, EEE, Bruce should have addressed this in advance, and then when it played out and blew up, there was nothing from E Street. Isn't it ironic that once upon a time, Jon Landau produced one of the most politically radical, hard left bands ever, the MC5? And he's a Brandeis grad too! Strummer nailed it with "You grow up and you calm down and you're working for the clampdown".
