Great story for 80s music aficionados. 37 years after being released - the song - Running Up That Hill from her album Hounds of Love (1985) is #1 on the UK pop charts - and #3 on the US charts. It now holds the record for the longest gap between being released  and reaching #1 (prev that Wham! Christmas song). It also gives Kate Bush the honor of being the oldest female to have a #1 on the UK charts (prev Cher).

One crazy fact about Kate Bush is that she wrote The Man with a Child In His Eyes when she was 13! and recorded it when she was 16. Think of where you were when you were 13. Nuts.
