I was perusing Youtube and watched this video of Elvis doing Baby, What You Want Me To Do from his 1968 Comeback show, and in doing so, it made me wonder if Elvis was a much better guitar player than people give him credit for.  It also made me wonder if because he possibly didn't have the desire or drive of a Jimi Hendrix or other extremely capable guitar player that he focused on performance rather than technical abilities. 

To me, watching him in this video clearly shows he was vastly underrated when it came to opinion over his guitar playing.
