This is interesting to hear.  Shows that the more or less complete template was there and Davitt must have been more about how to frame it all.  Certainly the production technique on the vocal for the finished version was really great - it's what really drew me in when hearing it for the first time.  This demo maybe has a bit to much reverb on the vocal so it loses a bit of the "edge" and phrasing that the final version had.
