Was not really my idea. I went to high school with her. Was friends with her back then and since being found by a couple old high school pals they keep insisting on putting me in a room with other former classmates. This woman is a bit legendary among those classmates as she has what may be the most insane and intense facebook feed anybody has ever seen. It is quite the rabbit hole of wild theories, links, videos, etc...that provide an ongoing update on what is going on in the world of the hard Christian Q right wing. Featured players are, of course, Trump, his stupid offspring, Michael Flynn, Roger Stone, Alex Jones, and a whole sea of weirdo conspiracy theorists, and whack jobs.
Having conversations these guys got very excited to have me talk to her. I am not sure how it will go or how short the conversation may be. I considered engaging her online but then thought better of it. In younger days when we were friends she was a very soft spoken sweet girl. She did look up to me back then and really liked me. I have not seen her in probably 35 years.
I am not going to attack her or her beliefs. I am going to try to just have a conversation and I guess come away with a better understanding of how she has arrived at where she is.
Not sure if she is aware that the two men behind Q have been exposed. Not sure if I will include that in the conversation or not. I think she basically believe Michael Flynn is one of the key Q people or is at the very least in regular contact with them. So, asking her about the two clowns that actually are Q might not be the best idea and could rapidly end our conversation.
Honestly, I don't know what to expect. Online she is very intense. Has apparently ghosted her family over her views, and puts a lot of time in following a variety of twisted conspiracy theories. She also seems very much behind using violence to save our country from the Bidens, Obamas, Clintons and the rest of the Democrats. Guns and shooting come into play a lot.
I am just a very curious guy by my nature and so, I am going to have this talk. Probably, it will depress me but you never know.
