Or, as he is known to his closest friends, "Boogie Sams."  The nickname was given by his parents, and it's even what he went by in school.  Teachers would sometimes call him "Mr. Sams," but "Boog" was most common.  Senate confirmation was unanimous, and that was truly nice to see.  Perhaps my letters to Cornyn and Cruz carried a little weight.
