You are aware that Don Jr. still polls well for Republicans as a presidential candidate? In fact some Republicans prefer him because his father will be 78 in 2024. Also part of the thrill for many people of voting for a Trump is they say the quiet parts out loud. They love that about them.

It would be nice if doing stuff like that turned people off but the truth is it also excites the base.
