aye Reg tis true that the fading light of democracy in the USA is petering out and yet it has to happen. there has to be chaos, out of which can grow a new civilisation that rejects politics as a model of governing. hopefully the new more enlightened world will be led by poets, philosophers, healers, scientists, therapists, and a few more other visionaries or pragmatists who are disinterested in the pursuit of self interest. a world in which money is like grain or something that has to be used or it withers. 

until then we have to wait until China, Russia, USA, Iran, Syria, Israel, North Korea, Great Britain, Afghanistan, all blow the shit out of each other and leave what is left of us with the enlightened Scandinavians to take us forward.  God bless Denmark.
