There may be a civil uprising, but short lived, in my opinion.

The arrest reactions to Jan 6. leaves a taste of discouragement to the militias supporting any such ill-conceived adventure.

In spite of Trump's big lie regarding the last presidential election, elections will still call the shots. Skirmishes will be quickly put down by law enforcement, the majority of which still believes the oaths it takes means something.

I cannot believe 200 years of building institutions of reverence to the rule of law defending our Democracy can be spit upon by Trump and his cult members without severe consequences.
