This was really difficult for me to watch today. Of course, was curious, but sitting here in my home office, when I saw in the first time, I burst into tears. I guess the wound is still fresh. But we can hope the best for Mr. Eriksen. Similar to the first of two times it happened to my son, he was already up after just a few minutes and without an electrical charge defibrillation. But they'll have to really study him carefully. There are all kinds of possible causes of sudden cardiac arrest. Some are more severe than others although almost all can be treated. Don't be surprised if after a recovery period, Mr. Eriksen may even be able to resume his career.
Below is a link to a nice moment this spring, 2.5 years after similar happened to my son. (I know that look you see on Mr. Eriksen's face when he's down on his side on the pitch. Those are excruciating moments for anyone watching). And yet, after all of that and what doctors originally said was only a 5% chance of surviving having had 2 such incidents in one week, there were then a bunch of moments like this in Spring 2021. And a state tournament run . . .
