Getting disowned...

Basically, the weapon of choice in this instance was my mouth. Essentially, after years of a family member's wife doing lousy things to my wife...well...Julia finally told me I could take the gloves off. And I did. So, needless to say Julia and I were excommunicated. I did warn them what was coming and I did give them every chance to make things right prior to my, I guess, going nuclear but neither the husband nor wife was listening and so it did not end well. I only did it because Julia told me I could because it was her side of the family. I won't deny that I had wanted a piece of these people for a while and so maybe relished the opportunity way too much...but hey, they had it coming.
Life is too short to be jammed up in same nonsense over and over. I would not say I surgically removed the problem...more like I obliterated it with a sledgehammer but sometimes that's the right tool for the job. Sloppy maybe but the point gets made.
