This very lengthy podcast certainly got my undivided attention. In just the first 30 minutes, the discussion focuses on the pandemics that we will inevitably face, be they naturally occurring, or due to lab created, synthetic biology. I learned a lot about the varying levels of transmissibility and deadliness of Covid 19, SARS, MRSA, and finally, the mother of all pathogens, H5N1. If you choose to listen beyond the first 30 minutes, you'll learn how exponential technology eventually filters down to the mass public, offering lethal opportunities for the world's nihilists, psychopaths, religious fundamentalists, and yes,  even the well intentioned scientists who were just trying to do the right thing for humanity. There's a lot of chilling stuff here, and I get it if you are disinclined to devote over 3 hours of your time to this. Still, I'd urge you to give the first half-hour or so your attention. It's a hell of a wake up call for the planet!
