yeah, Eugene, i do so enjoy your posts, but i understand if you need/want to do other things/spectate/whatever for a while. thing is, when you get a little burnt or bored with this place and bail for a few days, you come back and realize how many parties you're late to. man, i take a couple days off to climb the highest peak in Yosemite and look what i missed! (ouch, i just broke my arm patting myself etc.)

sure, the wading through the 'satire' or dramatics can be a pain, and the politrix talk may be getting a little yawnsome - i think most of realize where this gang is 'leading' us, and it's depressing - but all of a sudden DB pops back in, or someone offers up a bunch of great sharing about a band or artist you love, or puts up a good joke or amusing link, or etc etc etc. this place'll continue to evolve, you just sit back with a martini and watch...and when your buzz gets right, pound keys. :)
