He has to have at his disposal a draft of how he will respond to the next police shooting of a black man. His response has to be calm, and balanced, and he needs to firmly state that we don't jump to conclusions because often the initial assessment of a situation is wrong. Patience isn't easy at such heated moments.The public needs to have facts for that specific situation, and data related to past shootings, and yes, it's hard to compete with emotions. It's going to happen, and it will be taped, and disseminated around the world. It's an opportunity to address this most divisive issue, but it's a minefield as well. But Joe has to be ready for it!
