I do think you are correct and they gamed that out. I think that was more feasible if this was super tight but the thing now is Biden is now looking at getting over 300 electoral college votes. Maybe 311...that's not close so while I think Trump is stalling...it looks hopeless for him. Even advisors in the White House are trying to get him to accept that he has lost. It is not going well but his lawsuits are empty and he's probably not going to get anything in front of the Supreme Court. 

I think what is going on now is there will be a push by Republicans to get Trump to accept he has lost. He's going to look like an even bigger ass if he continues to fight this while people around him are packing their bags.

Of course this is the grand finale of Trump's idiotic reality show so, he probably wants to go out in a blaze of shit flinging stupidity.
