I've never fully understood why a gay, atheist, super cerebral type like Peter Thiel backed Trump so publicly. I don't think the withdrawal of future political donations from him or other big donors will make much of an impact as Trump seems to have plenty of advertising dough. Not that I think it's going to matter as he's likely to go down, but anything can happen when certain foreign goons put their sizable fingers on the election scale. 

I introduced you, Reg, to Eric Weinstein a few weeks ago as he has interesting thoughts on the Epstein case. Eric is the managing director for Thiel Capital and is a Democrat with a strong animus against the DNC. Weinstein feels the media, the DNC, and the liberal elite effectively excluded new players in Democratic politics like Andrew Yang, and he's right. Thiel was Weinstein's first guest on his podcast, The Portal, and as I recall, it was fairly interesting.
