I would support the will of the voters. I like Bernie and believe he is a strong candidate but last night Biden had a far better than expected showing. So, the sudden string of endorsements, including what appeared to be one from Obama, seems to have given him a boost. This and the endless drone from the media lying about and stirring up fear about Sanders...which in part seemed to finally cost Chris Matthews his job.

Basically, what I do believe the Democrats need to do is to really get behind their candidates and start promoting them as fantastic options to Trump. They won't do that though and until this past Monday they seemed completely lost...when finally it appears Obama may have stepped in and said they needed to stop the crap and back one guy, Biden. DNC Democrats will only badmouth Sanders and as Biden faltered they seemed prepared to rush to back Bloomberg, an utter joke as a Democrat. Thankfully, what last night did was to show Bloomberg has no shot whatsoever. The Democrats will now pressure Bloomberg to get out because they are certain that will help Biden.

Now this race is back on track, or at least back where I think most expected it would be at this stage, which is a two horse race between Biden and Sanders.

So, now at least there is a clear choice for Democrats voting and the question they should most consider when voting, because I think it is the most important one, is which guy Biden or Sanders will have the best chance to beat Trump?

When I think about that question I worry greatly about Biden. Don't get me wrong, I am going to get behind the mule and vote for whichever Democrat comes out on top but Trump's track record when facing long term establishment politicians is...he smacks them around and makes them look painfully bad. He did it against all the establishment Republicans (sure, they looked like a parade of dopes), he did it against Clinton (obviously a weaker candidate than Biden or Sanders) and he has even sort of done it while in office escaping scandal after scandal saying amazingly dumb stuff and smearing everybody that exposes his criminality.

So, basically out of all the Democrats that were/are running...Biden seems like the one that Trump would most like to face. He is exactly the kind of politician Trump likes to contrast himself against. Also out of all the people running Biden is the only one that Trump and his pals have done the prep work to face...and Trump typically does not like to do prep work. So, my feeling is if Trump could hand pick any candidate to face...well, he'd choose his first love Hillary...out of the group that was running, he would pick Biden. That's more than a little nerve-wracking. It is the closest he can get though to the 2016 dynamic he had when he faced Hillary.

Now, I will try to end this post on a positive note, I know I can seem a bit gloomy, and I would take out of last night as a big positive that voter turnout seemed really high, that's great news for Democrats because they will need that in November and even though high turnout was supposed to benefit Bernie, in several states including Texas it seemed to benefit Joe...so, that could be a good sign.
