I used to be in the group that commented about how there is nothing on the radio. Then, after watching a bunch of music documentaries and falling prey to the lockstep, lemming-like use of streaming services like Spotify, I have found, yes, while traditional radio is mostly gone, there is a ton of good music out there that does not overly rely upon technology and computer capabilities to render it pleasing to the ear.
The new lamentation comes from, when hearing this wonderful new music and finding out about these young new artists, the grief of the lack of their just recognition never coming. All the while, those in the world of vastly consumed painful ear candy are seen as new music messiahs rather than the poseurs that they are.
