Yes, I heard Adam Schiff at the hearings, but he's the only one.  Republicans have raised the issue several times by way of criticizing Palozzi for hurrying the Articles, then  holding them from the Senate for so long.

She didn't want to take the time to go to court to obtain witnesses and documents.  Well, of course she didn't.  They'd  be there until after the election.

On TV as guests, the issue comes up but no member of the Senate cites the "sole authority" argument.

I pull my hair. I'm tempted to say when it comes to impeachment, the President should be expected to place all the documents on the table, put his staff at the Houses's disposal, Executive Privilege be damned and let her rip; but I recognize that when we have the partisanship we have now, the President needs some shoe-on-the-other-foot protection.
