Hey Gene - how can you not come around every once in a while? I think you easily have the honor of being the most "connected" DBISer - by that I mean I think you've personally met the most people who've ever posted here - past and present. Maybe even more than DB on his 2002 tour! How funny was it that we were living less than a half hour apart when this all started.
As for Black Hours - I absolutely love the track Unspoken. I can't fathom how this track only exists here and didn't make the cut for Bedtime Stories. The other two unreleased tracks Scenes and Shine kinda peek their heads out a bit later. From Scenes the 'make like a snake and shed my skin' in AIDS & Armageddon and 'your vistas do stretch out forever' in China Lake. But nothing from Unspoken. Other than maybe Silver or Lead - it's my favorite unreleased track. Those guitar licks!
Speaking of which. I have this version of A&A. Maybe this is the Stekol version (and the lost AA from this demo set) -
David Baerwald - AIDS & Armageddon (non album version)
–-- Now your patrons have all left you in the red. Your low rent friends are dead. This life can be very strange.
