Cars salesmen have a theory that says when a customer comes in with a car to trade in, any time their lips move they're lying.

One could have the same theory about Donald Trump, trading in a car or not.

The House Impeachment hearings have produced what many believe to be hard facts,  as proof that the President abused his office, but lack the President's own words, depending instead on what Republicans claim is hearsay.

Democrats cite his challenge, while standing on the White House lawn,  to both Ukraine and China to investigate the Bidens, as proof of his motives witnesses have testified to as hearsay in the hearings.

Let's say the President himself agreed to testify.

House Intelligence committee:  Ha, we got you, you just told us that you held up the meeting with the Ukrainian President and the military aid as a way to get them to investigate the Bidens, which of course, would result in a benefit to you personally. You have given us the hard facts, Mr President.

President Trump:  Everything I say is a lie.
