I do remember him mentioning why they never did finish the follow-up. I think it came down to the songs were not good enough or at least they were not happy with what they had.

Amazing thing about Stranger was he would never play it while playing the Steamboat down in Austin and man I wanted to hear it. Definitely my favorite song post D&D although I did like HCTNFU.
